Team Kolar Champions / Skeet

Greg Wnek

I am from Westbrook, CT where growing up the only thing I knew about skeet was that my dad used to shoot it once in a while before I was born. It wasn’t until junior year of high school after getting injured playing baseball when I found the game of skeet. I instantly fell in love with the game as it was something that sparked my competitive drive. Just two years later with a lot of practice and an eagerness to get better, I received a scholarship to shoot at Lindenwood University. Later I would go on to be named a captain of the team and lead the skeet team to two national championships.

I started to shoot NSSA minimums and travel to more shoots only three years ago. Traveling the country meeting new people, seeing old friends, and competing against the best shooters in the world has been such an amazing experience. I have been lucky to have won multiple state tiles, be a part of state teams, and land a spot on the Triple Sub All American team in 2022. The one thing that has been a constant throughout my skeet journey is shooting a Kolar. I am proud to represent Kolar as my skeet career progresses and as I strive to stand on top of more podiums.
