Kolar Max T/A Low Profile 32/34 Combo

“My Kolar has been the finest shotgun I’ve ever shot. When I first got it, Tom from the factory helped make sure it was fitted right. I’ve had a few things changed on it since buying it, and the guys at the factory are always helpful and willing to take time out of there busy day to make sure you leave happy. Jeff has been super to deal with, every time I’m at a shoot and he’s there he asks how I’m shooting and how the gun is working, he always attentive to the needs of his customers.”

“I went to see the guys at the Kolar office, that was set up at a local tournament (Cardinal Shooting center). I could not believe how I was welcomed like a family member, and my gun was gone through with the utmost care and attention to detail!

I have met a few more staff members since then, and they all treat me with a smile, respect, and personal attention. I have been shooting for over 30 years, and no other manufacturer has stood behind their product like Kolar Arms! I Shoot the best, and I shoot an American made Shotgun! I SHOOT A KOLAR!”

Sincerely,

“I came out on Monday & picked out a beautiful piece of wood & he measured me & made the stock the next day. I’ve shot it at a high level of competition from the very start. It’s put me on the PA State team for 9 years straight and I have won many awards including the first ever 1st place National Team Race at the Grand American in 2014 and 3rd place in 2016 as well as individual awards at the Grand. Even with the cable ties holding the forend on it was good for 5 awards at last year’s PA state shoot. Now that’s getting fixed, along with whatever the boys think needs done!”

Job Well Done!

32″ .740 Kolar Max Lite Sporting

I’m not a top competitor but I shoot quite a bit. For the last 4 years, I’ve been competing or shooting somewhere every weekend. I primarily shoot Helice, FITASC and Sporting, but also shoot trap and skeet once in a while. In the search for MY competition shotgun, I’ve shot Perazzi, Beretta and Krieghoff guns, among many others. I’ve liked them all for different reasons, but something about Kolar made me switch from my Perazzi MX8 to a 32″ .740 Kolar Max Lite Sporter. I’ve personally found the Kolar gun fits my shooting style the best.  I like how fast the gun swings; it feels light despite weighing over 8 lbs. It’s just a very well built gun. It can also take a beating, as I’m not very delicate with my gun. I like that I can customize my P.O.I., easily remove the trigger, select the barrel and adjust my comb, as needed. I have the standard model with slightly upgraded wood. Nothing too fancy but I’m very happy with it. I plan on getting another (as my backup gun) at some point. I would highly recommend a Kolar gun.

Sincerely,
Henning Mathew

Kolar Max Lite Sporting Fixed Rib

I am currently attending and shooting for Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Michigan, and I shoot a Max Lite Sporting Fixed Rib. I bought the gun this past summer after test-firing every other major brand’s flagship models. The Kolar was the last gun I shot before making a purchase decision, and as soon as I picked it up, I knew my decision was made. The balance in between my hands was impeccable, and when I mounted the gun it felt like an extension of my arms.  It hands like an exotic sports car and barely kicks me at all. It fits me so well, in fact, that I shot my first 100-straight in American skeet with the demo unit I was borrowing, not the gun I purchased. Since purchasing my Max Lite, I no longer doubt whether I’m holding the right equipment in my hands – I have 100% confidence in my Kolar. It handles every discipline, and the international versions, perfectly. Also, the customer service is second-to-none; the shooting community is full of great people, and nowhere is this more true than Kolar Arms. I haven’t had a bad experience with any aspect of the purchase process, or since.

Thanks!

Kolar Max Skeet

Hi My name is Ged Smith and I predominantly shoot skeet. I have shot for the National team for the last 8 years and use my Kolar Max Skeet. I have had this gun for the last four years and cannot find any fault with it. I love this gun and would not change it for anything else!

Much Appreciated,

I have never been more comfortable with any other gun. It points naturally and I feel like I am a part of the Kolar Arms family. I won my first HOA and became a member of the All-American team within a year of switching to Kolar.

Kolar Max T/S

Since purchasing the Kolar Max T/S I have seen my scores improve due to what I believe is the fit, finish, and quality of the Kolar Max T/S. As soon as I picked up the shotgun and put it to my shoulder it fit like a glove and started dusting…should I say ink blotting clays. Everything from the robust mechanics of the receiver to the crisp tight trigger is on par or better than the other k and p guns. Now that I have started shooting more competitive events I am proud to say I will never look back as my confidence has grown and will always continue with my passion shooting a Kolar shotgun.

Did I mention I am born and raised a Wisconsin boy which gives me that much more pride shooting a Kolar firearm? Keep up the good work and you’ve got a customer/believer for life!

Thank You!,

Kolar Max Lite Sporting

My Kolar Max Lite Sporting has been an asset to my shooting since the day I bought it. I think it is a great combination of quality manufacturing and well-balanced handling. While I have never had an issue with the gun (25K plus rounds), the contact I have with Kolar customer service has been super. I met some of the Kolar folks at the NSCA nationals this year, they were friendly and helpful. You just can’t ask for much more out of a gun manufacturer. Made in the U.S.A and you can feel the pride and quality in the gun.

Much Appreciated,

Proud owner of Kolar Combo #K02703

I can’t say enough nice things about the quality and workmanship of the shotgun and the fantastic people that work at Kolar. I bought a Kolar Combo 12 gauge trap gun in 2007, I believe that I bought the first 34″ double barrels west of the Mississippi. Kolar was the most gracious host while I was at the factory being fitted. they kept me laughing and calmed my fears at a time that should have been stressful. It turned out to be one of the greatest experiences I’ve ever had. The reason I bought Kolar was I wanted an American made forever gun, one that was engineered and designed for many years of daily use. What I got was so much more, I not only purchased a beautifully designed piece of American manufacturing. I got an extremely beautiful shotgun that feels like an extension of my body when I shoot it. The craftsmanship is superb. I upgraded to the polished blued barrels, AAA fancy wood and my name engraved on the trigger. The best part was… when I left the fitting process I felt like I was family. I know that I’m part of the “Kolar family” and if I ever have a question or need to bounce an idea of tighter chokes or service requests or how to maintain the shotgun I have a wealth of knowledge just a phone call away.

Kolar, American made for a lifetime of shooting pleasure.

Kolar Max Lite Sporting

After years of shooting mediocre scores with other name brand shotguns, and getting hounded by my buddies, I decided to get a Kolar. I ordered a brand new Max Lite Sporting with a trap forend instead of the usual thin sporting forend as I was going to use the gun for trap and sporting. Immediately I started shooting better scores. In just the few months I have had my new Kolar I broke my first ever 200×200 at the Ohio State trap shoot, 1 of only 4 broke that day, and taking class AA champion. In sporting clays I took the Ohio State class AA Champion with a 182×200, 9 targets ahead of 2nd place. I attribute a great deal of my success to my Kolar Sporting. The high quality of this fantastic shotgun makes it unbelievably consistent from shot to shot. The fit and finish is next to none, and that puts Kolar shotguns amongst the ranks of the world’s finest gun makers. They are a truly remarkable product. If I ever wear my current Sporter out, I’ll buy another without hesitation.

Thank you!

Kolar Over/Under

I’ve owned my Kolar Over/Under for about two years and can’t say enough about the gun, the service or what it’s done to my scores. Prior to the Kolar, I was shooting one of the other top line guns, but having little success. On top of it, I have a damaged shoulder and was experiencing quite a bit of discomfort, shooting. The Kolar did several things for me. First, the .750 bore and barrel interior construction made recoil a thing of the past. I usually shoot 1 oz., at 1200 and with this gun I don’t even feel it. Second, the design of the stock, rib, etc, has greatly improved target visibility so I pick them up sooner and hit more consistently and more comfortably as I”m now an upright shooter. Did I tell you the gun is indestructible? I shoot 2 to 3 flats a month and have never had a problem with any aspect of the gun. I often show my friends how easy it is to pop out the trigger and look at the simplicity of design. Bulletproof comes to mind. Lastly is dealing with the staff at Kolar. I’ve been up to Wisconsin as well and have met different people from Kolar at several shoots, they have always taken the time to talk to me and answer my every question. The same goes to Cody and Mark in the service department. Always happy to help. I sent my gun up to put a fancy trigger on it, and it was turned around in less the two weeks, you can’t beat that.

I’ve owned this gun several years now and it is their base model, so no engraving or high-end wood, but I am still stopped by people who remark on what beautiful gun it is. Again it goes to quality in design and manufacturing that make this a great investment for me

It’s a pleasure working with you,
Rich Dettinger

Kolar Max TA combo

During the Spring Grand at Tucson Trap & Skeet Club in 2014 I had the opportunity to meet Kolar Arms on site while visiting gun dealers. I was in the market for a new trap combo gun and Kolar personally took the time to have me demo a Max Trap T/A combo at the practice range. I could immediately notice the difference in balance and ease of movement compared to my older gun. Kolar properly fitted me and I submitted my order for a gun to be made for June delivery.

When I received word the gun was finished I had the opportunity to visit the Kolar facility in Racine, Wisconsin prior to delivery and met Mark Franceschina — Head Gunsmith who personally walked me through the features of the gun and confirmed fitting. Mark was also gracious enough to give me a complete tour of their facility explaining their production and quality control process to ensure every finished gun meets their high quality of standards before delivery. I must say, everyone I met during my visit was polite, professional and very proud of the high quality firearms produced by Kolar. My gun was promptly sent to Indiana Gun Club where I completed my purchase.

Since my purchase four years ago, I have continued to attend the Spring and Autumn Grand Satellite events in Tucson, AZ and always make it a point (if not the highlight) of my visit to stop by to say hello to Jeff between events. I know I will always receive a warm welcome and complete attention regarding any questions or minor service requests during my visit.

I am very proud of my TA combo knowing it was made in America and have the support of an excellent staff who will support me (not just at time of purchase), in the years to come enjoying this wonderful sport of trap shooting.

Thanks for Everything,
Jesse Zamora
