Randy Knight

Randy began his shooting experience as a teenager through retriever training for ducks, quail, and doves. His love of the outdoors and all things hunting influenced him to become a professional dog trainer. On a tower shoot in Upstate South Carolina, he was introduced to Sporting Clays in the 1990s. In 2001 his gunsmith recommended the discipline of Trapshooting due to his success in Sporting Clays. He and his wife, Teresa, now shoot primarily Trap but support organizations by shooting in charity sporting clays events.

Randy and Teresa also give back to the sport by coaching youth teams participating in the South Carolina DNR program, South Carolina Youth Sporting Foundation, and as the Trap Coaches for the Clemson University Shooting Team.
