Team Kolar Champions / Trap

Aaron Vossen
I began shooting competitively six years ago when I was an 8th grader for my High School trap team. I shot in several competitions in trap, skeet, and sporting clays. In 2018 was when I realized trap was my passion. I wanted to take my shooting career to the next level so I joined P.I.T.A. I shot as many competitions as I could spending the majority of my weekends shooting. At one particular shoot my gun broke during doubles, and a gentleman offered to lend me his Kolar. It was then I realized that was the gun of my dreams and I began saving up to purchase one.
In October of 2019, my Grandfather worked with Aaron Willoughby and surprised me with a new Kolar. In the week following, I took my Kolar to my first ATA shoot, the 2019 Autumn Grand. I continued traveling to as many shoots as possible. I set a goal to make the All-American team my first year shooting ATA. With the support of my family and the great people I have met in the shooting community, I achieved my goal.
